6th International Conference of the Cognitive Science

We are pleased to announce that the 6th International Conference of the Cognitive Science (ICCS 2008) will be held in Korea from July 27th until 29th, 2008. Following the previous conferences held in Korea (1997), Japan(1999), China (2001), Australia (2003) and Canada (2006), ICCS2008 aims at being a forum for international researchers to present their works in the area of, or related to, cognitive science.
We solicit interested researchers to submit works pursuing a scientific understanding of the mind through all available methodologies, notably those of anthropology, artificial intelligence, computer science, education, linguistics, learning sciences, logic, neuroscience, philosophy, and psychology, or other, newly developing methodologies that are most appropriate to promote cognitive science. Any suggestions or plans for workshops or special meetings that are part of ICCS2008 should be addressed to the organizing chairman first

Related Events: Two closely related international conferences will be held immediately before and after ICCS 2008: The 18th International Congress of Linguists (CIL 18, July 21-26, 2008) and the 22nd World Congress of Philosophy (WCP, July 30-Aug. 5, 2008). One workshop on Linguistics is being prepared by participants of ICCS2008
Deadlines: Submission of Title, Authors, Abstract by Mar. 1, 2008; Acceptance Notification by Apr.1 , 2008; Full paper in camera-ready form by June 1, 2008
